I can't believe it last time I really absorbed any date it was February yes I know there were some special months in between too but where has this year gone. So much is getting crammed into our family's timetable lately especially the time counting down to my Daughter Emily's leave for England and I'd like to freeze time for sure. So with that thought in mind I dedicated a layout to my daughter using the Beauty and Beast collection from Piggy Tales. this collection is full of glitter moments, totally gorgeous. I also did this layout as my take on #123 colour combo challenge.
While on the trail of challenges here is one I did for May's Basic Grey Sketch, something Mary from TSe has also embraced and set as an additional challenge, check out other's entries on this Becky Fleck sketch for Basic Grey. It is actually a double layout but I condensed mine down to one page on an A4 size.
May BG Sketch
Recently I was asked to be the guest judge for a challenge being currently run on Chook Scraps Idol 2009.
The criteria is
*Black, White and one other colour
Summer Ballet School (a layout of my youngest daughter Gabriella) I used one of those maya Road plastic lace papers as my masking pattern and than stitched around the designs.
Here is another layout I did with the black/white/red combo (can you tell I like black/white/colour)
Dad's New Ute - double layout
Boy's N Toy's
Daniel's 1st Car
And some cards from the same collection.
Finally a card I made recently for a niece's wedding. It is based on a Becky Fleck card map.
